FAQ’s for The Devon Card V1 (may change as the app develops)

+ What is The Devon Card?

The Devon Card is an app, which offers a membership programme, that helps you discover local Devon businesses and gain offers/rewards when shopping at these places.

+ Who is on the app? 

We only allow local Devon businesses on this platform, no national brands. As our whole mission is to support these local businesses. If you know a Devon business that you’d like to see on the app for free, please contact us on business@thedevoncard.co.uk 

+ How do I change my location? 

Please ensure that your location settings are switched on for The Devon Card. Alternatively, you can change your location settings within your account in the app. 

It is very simple, if it is an instore promotion, just head to the local business and simply click redeem the offer and show this to the staff member at the checkout to verify this offer. 

If the promotion is online, you will select online offer, then you will be given a code to redeem on their website at their checkout. 

+ I know a business that should be on the app? 

We are always on the look out for more local Devon businesses to join our community. Please drop us an email at business@thedevoncard.co.uk and we will get them setup.

+ I cannot remember my password or have lost details to access my Devon Card, how can I get a new one?

We are all human, and often forgot our password. You have the option to restore it by clicking on the “forgot password” button when signing in and following the steps.

+ Do I need to show my Devon Card at the venues? 

To access the offers you will have to be a member and the cashier will verify this from our live voucher that is installed within the app. 

We always advise our Devon Card members to notify the Devon business before and show them the voucher you redeem within your membership. 

+ How do I amend my details? 

Need to update something? When you have logged into your account, you can make changes from your dashboard. Just click on the relevant section and don’t forget to save your changes. We may send you an email just to confirm we have the right details.

+ Can I reuse my voucher? 

All our vouchers are valid for a limited time which is stated within the app, must be accompanied by your Devon Card and one use only. Full details are shown on each Devon Card reward.
