La Di Dah Pottery is the working studio of Karly la Fontaine. Karly works in porcelain making both functional and decorative items for the home, and one-off original, delicate jewellery pieces.
As an avid environmentalist, she also makes sculptures using discarded fishing rope found on North Devon’s beaches and also collected at local beach cleans. These pieces of rope, she combines with her ceramics to make artistic pieces.
Karly obtained her Ceramics Degree at Plymouth University after previously studying Art & Design. She has been working with ceramics full time since 2003, and is now permanently located in Butchers Row, in Bideford Pannier Market.
She not only sells her beautiful items, but undertakes tuition on a one to one basis or in small groups. Please contact her for more details.
